Babatunji wusu –
On Thursday night, kidnappers broke into Army Estate in Abuja and abducted two individuals.
The incident, which occurred at around 10:00 p.m. in the Phase 2 portion of the estate, involved kidnappers breaking into the estates and removing one of Barrister Cyril Adikwu’s in-laws’ wives.
A neighbor of the victim named Austine John said that the kidnappers broke into the barrister’s home, stole his wife and mother-in-law, and fled with the barrister.
“It all began at around 10:00.” We became aware that something was amiss as soon as we heard gunshots. I hurried outside to confirm that my gate was securely shut.
We then reported the gunshot to the estate’s management, who moved swiftly after hearing it in the barrister’s home.
The barrister’s wife and one of his in-laws were abducted by the kidnappers before the army personnel soon arrived and began firing as well.
