The Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Gbenga Komolafe, and Nigeria’s Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, have all arrived at the National Assembly to take part in an interactive session with the House Committee on Appropriations.

The Abubakar Bichi-led Committee will hear presentations and defenses of the government officials’ separate budget forecasts for 2024.

They will also elaborate on the tactics they want to use in order to bring in enough money to fund the budget until 2024.

According to reports, the Committee had earlier asked the income-generating organizations to come before them on Monday to discuss the strategies they plan to use to increase revenue collection before the budget for the following year is put into effect.
