Kaalan Walker, an American rapper and actor who goes by the stage name KR, was found guilty of raping three teenagers and four young women in 2013. Walker was given a 50-year prison term.
On Monday, October 18, months after being found guilty of the crimes, the 27-year-old was given a sentence by a court sitting in Los Angeles. According to Deputy District Attorney Cynthia Wallace, who told City News Service that she thinks the defendant is “really a predator,” Superior Court Judge Joseph Brandolino also ordered the prisoner to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
On April 18, a jury in Van Nuys found Walker guilty of three counts of forced rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by intoxication with the purpose to perform oral copulation involving acts committed between 2013 and 2018.
According to City News Service, Walker was detained after being sentenced after being apprehended in 2018 on the accusations.
