Just two months after his first ban, American musician Kanye West has been barred from Twitter after being accused of “inciting violence” due to critical posts.
In a series of odd tweets, West, also known as Ye on the Elon Musk-owned microblogging platform, appeared to combine a Jewish star with a swastika.
One user reportedly urged Twitter’s CEO, Elon Musk, to “fix Kanye,” according to CNN.
Musk tweeted that West had “violated our rule against inciting violence.”
Musk stated on Twitter that “Account will be suspended.”
West praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and screamed about sin, pornography, and the devil while wearing a mask during an interview with American conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on Thursday.
Adidas severed its relationship with musician Kanye West after he made a slew of anti-Semitic and racist comments in recent months.
After tweeting antisemitic remarks in October, the rapper’s access to his Twitter and Instagram accounts was initially blocked.
Both websites removed West’s posts after they claimed he had broken their hate speech guidelines when he claimed rapper Diddy was under the power of Jews.
