KATSINA GOVERNMENT DECLARES A ONE-WEEK HOLIDAY FOR EID-EL-KABIR.

The Katsina State Government has declared a one-week break for primary and secondary school pupils in order to observe Eid-el-Kabir (Sallah) in the state.

The decision was made in a letter signed by the acting Permanent Secretary of Education, Ya’u Jibrin, and obtained on Sunday.

“That approval has been given for a one-week Sallah break to all Public, Community, and Private Schools across the State, with effect from Monday 26th June to Monday 3rd July 2023,” the statement added.

However, all boarding students are scheduled to return on Sunday, July 2, 2023, according to the directive.

As a result, the Ministry of Education wishes all staff and students a joyous Sallah celebration.
