The Ketu fruit market known as Oja Jakande was again on Monday thrown into another state of confusion as they lament the bringing in of caterpillar the second time into the market for demolition with the men of Nigerian Police Force.
A beneficiary of the market anonymously said, demolishing the market would bring not just hardship but increase in banditry and other forms of criminality into the area.
Some youth of the market has made a yet to be verified claim that the administrator of the Ikosi Isheri LCDA, Engr. Abdul Fatai Oyesanya is the man behind the demolition exercise.
The youth condemned the action, that Jakande market is not a small market but a market that feed thousands of people both within and outside the state.
The Premier News was told that many graduates also feed from the market since there are no job anywhere in the country.
It could be recall that a section of the market was demolished last week Friday by the Lagos State Task Force.
Our correspondence report that the youth of the market gathered in protest against any further re-occurrence of what happened last week Friday.
