Disclosed in a statement by the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, announced a major breakdown of its 11KVA feeder 2 in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital.
This happened after a heavy wind blew on Monday which broke down seven non-high tension poles and tripped the lines.
A statement issued by the management, Kabawa, Old market, New Market, Nataco, Sariki Noma, Kogi Poly, Felele, Agbaja and some parts of the traditional main town are affected.

The statement signed by AEDC management reads, “Dear esteemed customers. We regret to inform you that we have a major breakdown of our 11KVA feeder 2. A heavy wind broke down seven non-high tension poles yesterday and tripped the lines.
“Places affected by this are Kabawa, Old market, New Market, Nataco, Sariki Noma, Kogi Poly, Felele, Agbaja and some parts of the traditional main town. We are sorry for the inconveniences this might have caused you.
“Please bear with us as plans are already underway to rectify the problem and restore supply soonest.”
