Kwara: Civil Servants Commence 2019 Promotion Exam

Kwara State Civil Service on Tuesday begins its  2019 promotion examination organised by the state Civil Service Commission

About  336 civil servants will be wring the promotion exam.

The Chairman of the Commission, Habibat Yusuf, who disclosed this, stated that the officers progressing to Grade Level 07 and 08 in the state Civil Service wrote the examination adding that 336 candidates in Group E participated.

She said, “The Commission strictly adhered to COVID-19 protocols, which include fumigation of halls and environment, checking of temperature, the use of face masks and social distancing, which were all supervised by COVID-19 team from the Ministry of Health.”

Yusuf also pointed out that the examinations would run throughout the week, including Saturday, and wished all the affected civil servants success in their examinations.

No fewer than 1,716 civil servants, who are eligible for promotion in 2019 in Kwara State, would sit for the promotion examination in the state.
