Federal High Court in Lagos has directed Oba Otudeko to appear and take a plea in a case filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Justice Chukwujekwu Aneke issued the order on Monday, emphasizing that Otudeko must be present for arraignment before any challenge to the court’s jurisdiction can be considered.
The EFCC has filed a 13-count charge against Otudeko and three others over an alleged N30 billion loan fraud.
At the hearing, the judge adjourned the case to May 8 for further proceedings.
