Street vendors at Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, have been removed from their positions as “constituting environmental nuisance” by the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources enforcement team.

The ministry’s spokesperson, Kunle Adeshina, announced this on his X page on Tuesday.

He shared images from the operation and said, “MOE&WR Environmental monitoring and enforcement team on night duty Tuesday at Admiralty way, Omorinre Johnson avenue in lekki phase one to disperse illegal street traders constituting environmental nuisance.”
