Lagos, according to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is now comparable to London.
He made the statement at the State’s Blue Line Rail inauguration.
On Wednesday, the governor announced the completion of the infrastructure for the first phase of Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LMRT), Blue Line operations between the CMS-Mile-2 axis.
During his speech, the Lagos governor compared the change of the state’s transportation infrastructure to Transport for London (the transport network in London).
“I was fortunate to be a part of the initial inauguration of LAMATA (The Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority) at that time,” he says (during its inception).
