-Fuji King Fires Back After Social Media Feud
-Osupa’s Fans Rally Behind Him as He Responds to Portable’s Apology
Legendary Fuji musician, Saheed Osupa, has vowed to take action against controversial Nigerian singer Portable and Fuji artist Taye Currency, despite their public apologies, following a series of heated confrontations.
A week ago, Portable made headlines when he called out Osupa on social media for allegedly removing his song from streaming platforms, accusing him of copyright infringement. In a now-viral Instagram video, Portable slammed Osupa as “big for nothing,” claiming that the veteran artist had reported his song to platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.
In an attempt to diffuse the situation, Portable later issued a public apology, bowing to pressure after the backlash. Despite this, Osupa made it clear that the matter was far from settled.
“You will still be dealt with because you think you can come for an elder. I am coming for you,” Osupa warned during a recent live performance, addressing both Portable and Taye Currency.
The tension escalated further when Taye Currency, in a reunion with his former boss Pasuma, referred to Osupa as a “colleague,” a remark that angered Osupa’s fans. The Fuji star responded in a fiery manner, stating, “Ati colleague mi, má wò rí. Mo n bò,” which translates to, “And my colleague, don’t worry, I’m coming for you.”
As the crowd roared in support, Osupa made it clear that the ongoing drama would not go unchallenged, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the next chapter in this musical feud.
