Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has relieved the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, of her appointment with immediate effect.
The governor has appointed Prof. Musibau Babatunde as the new Secretary to the State Government.
This was disclosed in a statement issued on Monday in Ibadan by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media, Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju.
The statement also announced that Mr Seun Ashamu has been redeployed from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
In addition, the governor named his Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, Mr Ademola Aderinto, as a commissioner-designate.
According to the statement, Aderinto will be presented to the Oyo State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Governor Makinde also approved the appointment of Mr Abiodun Adedoja as Special Adviser on Energy Security, while Mr Kolawole Akanmu was named Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning.
The statement did not give reasons for the cabinet changes. (NAN)
