Olugbade Ojelabi, the PDP chairman for the Oyo South Senatorial District, has passed away.

Ojelabi passed away yesterday at the age of 59. He was from the Anko area of Eruwa in the Ibarapa East Local Council of Oyo State.

Adebo Ogundoyin, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, confirmed the death in a statement and said it was tragic news for Eruwa town.
In the meantime, the late Ojelabi has been referred to the Governor Seyi Makinde as a real party man whose efforts would be missed by the party.

The governor asked God to grant the deceased’s soul rest as he sent his condolences to both the deceased’s immediate family and the PDP family in the state.

Ojelabi gave his all for the party’s advancement, and Makinde added in a statement issued by his Special Assistant (Print Media), Moses Alao, that his passing would leave a significant hole in the party, especially because it occurred during the height of campaigning for the general elections in 2023.

The governor prayed to God to grant his soul rest as he expressed his sympathy to the people of Eruwa and the PDP of the Oyo South Senatorial District.
