MAKINDE NAMES A NEW RECTOR FOR OKE-OGUN POLYTECHNIC.

Oyo State Governor ‘Seyi Makinde has accepted the nomination of Dr. Ajibola Sikiru Adetona as Rector of Oke Ogun Polytechnic, Saki.

The appointment was approved in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs Olubamiwo Adeosun, and made available to newcomers, which stated that the tenure would be five years in accordance with the terms and conditions of the office and status as spelled out in the institution’s relevant laws.

The governor thanked the new rector and urged him to carry out his duties with total devotion, dedication, and professionalism in order to improve the institution’s current standing.

“I am glad to express the Governor’s approval, His Excellency, Engr. ‘Seyi Makinde, on your appointment as Rector, The Oke-Ogun Polytechnic, Sakl, with effect from 14th December, 2022,” the letter says.

“The period of your appointment shall be five years, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the office and status, as laid out in the relevant legislation of the institution.

“While sincerely congratulating you on your appointment, government desires the performance of your duties with total loyalty, commitment and professionalism, towards guaranteeing the enhancement of the institution’s current status.

“You will also assure the institution’s continued development in line with the goal of the state government on behalf of His Excellency; please accept our heartfelt congratulations.”
