A young man known as Trammania has taken to social media to appeal for financial help from Nigerians after accumulating a staggering debt of N400 million due to a devastating car crash. The accident occurred at Eko Atlantic City in Lagos on Saturday, during an illegal drag race that went horribly wrong.

Trammania, who was driving a Corvette Stingray 2022, lost control of his vehicle while participating in the high-speed race, which also involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015. The two cars collided violently, with Trammania’s vehicle crashing into a concrete pole. The incident caused significant damage to both vehicles and resulted in multiple injuries. Fortunately, there were no fatalities reported, but the extent of the damage has left Trammania facing an immense financial burden.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Trammania described the crash as a terrifying experience and expressed his relief at surviving the ordeal. He detailed the overwhelming aftermath and the severe financial repercussions of the accident, including the massive debt incurred to cover the damages.

Acknowledging the gravity of his situation, Trammania has reached out to the public for assistance, seeking financial support to help him manage the debt. His plea reflects both the physical and emotional toll of the incident, as well as the significant financial challenge he now faces in the wake of the crash.

He wrote, “Yesterday evening, 14th of September 2024, I watched my life flash right in front of my eyes. It all happened so fast. Still traumatized. Taught it was all over. Still can’t even believe I’m alive. God really loves me & yesterday confirms all doubts…I’m grateful to still be here. I’ll never forget.

“Head jammed, back hurts, face bruised. Couldn’t even sleep at night too much pain, Flashbacks messing up my head already Hospital bills going crazy. Over 400 Million in damages, Corvette Stingray 2022 GONE, Jeep grand Cherokee 2015 GONE, Property damage. Won’t lie I don’t even know where to start from But I’m glad I’m still here God got his plans for me. Still hospitalized, Imma needs all the love & support I could possibly get from the masses.”

The incident has continued to generate reactions from social media users, with many criticising him for his recklessness.

Reacting to the situation in an X post on Monday, former Big Brother Naija housemate Vee tweeted, “You rented cars, you crashed them, didn’t die, and now you owe 400m? If that’s not a freshly downloaded generational curse, I don’t know what is ”

Another user, @Gracebal0, wrote, “The best part is expecting people that are not living life recklessly to come to your aid. masses that are broke you want to fund your stupid lifestyle mistakes.”
