Manchester United players have started discussions about their next manager, following reports that Jose Mourinho might be on his way out of the club.
The Red Devils have performed below par since the start of the new Premier League season, losing two times on a row, with heavy criticisms on the manager for his style of play while some outlets are already reporting that the board has started looking for possible replacements for Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
Reports in the Daily Mail have it that some United stars are hoping that Mourinho will be asked to leave the club soon if they continue to pile on bad results. The news outlet claims that a close source said: ‘They are saying Jose will be gone soon,’
Some think he’ll be out if they lose at Burnley. Others can’t see him lasting beyond September.
‘We’ve seen this before and it just feels the same. The club will say it’s supporting Jose but we all saw what happened with Louis [van Gaal]. ‘The players are already talking about the possibility of Zidane coming in.’
There is a widespread report that Mourinho has cut an isolated figure at United lately and raising concerns that the Portuguese boss is also considering his future at the club.
