Miss Jamaica Hospitalised After Dramatic Fall During Miss Universe Preliminaries in Thailand

Miss Jamaica, Dr. Gabrielle Henry, was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday after she slipped and tumbled off the stage during the Miss Universe preliminary evening gown competition in Thailand.

Henry, elegantly dressed in a flowing orange gown, was making her walk when she suddenly misstepped and fell from the stage. A viral video circulating on social media captures the shocking moment and the swift response from medics who placed her on a stretcher and transported her out of the venue.

The Miss Universe Organisation confirmed the incident in a statement, revealing that Henry is receiving care at Paolo Rangsit Hospital in Thailand.

Miss Universe President, Raúl Rocha Cantú, who visited her at the hospital, said Henry sustained minor injuries and will remain under observation overnight. He assured fans and supporters that she is responding well to treatment.
