MOHAMED SALAH’S VILLA IN CAIRO BURGLED – REPORTS

While Mohamed Salah, a striker for Liverpool, was in England, his Cairo home was broken into, according to the local press.

Police are still looking into the theft of TV receivers from the inside of the home. No jewelry was taken, a security source informed Egypt’s Shorouk newspaper on Sunday.

At the time of the occurrence, nobody was in the villa.

The 30-year-old Egypt captain Salah is scheduled to travel home the following week as he will command the team in two African Nations Cup qualification matches against Malawi, one at home on March 24 and the other away four days later.

With 129 goals, Salah last week surpassed Ronaldinho as Liverpool’s all-time leading Premier League scorer.
