Musk Deletes Explosive Post Alleging Trump’s Link to Epstein Files
By peterside Rejoice
Billionaire tech mogul Elon Musk has deleted a series of controversial posts from his social media platform, X, in which he alleged that former U.S. President Donald Trump appears in classified government files related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
The dramatic claim, posted on Thursday, came amid a deepening public feud between Musk and Trump, just days after Musk stepped down from his influential advisory role at the White House’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
“Time to drop the really big bomb: (Trump) is in the Epstein files,” Musk wrote in a now-deleted post. “That is the real reason they have not been made public.” He followed the accusation with a cryptic message: “Mark this post for the future. The truth will come out.”
Musk did not provide any evidence or specify which files he was referring to. By Saturday morning, both posts had vanished from his account, sparking confusion and speculation online.
A Fallout Reaches New Heights
The fallout between the world’s richest man and the U.S. president has rapidly escalated over the past week. Once political allies Trump even praised Musk during his farewell from DOGE relations soured after Musk harshly criticized a proposed federal spending bill, labeling it an “abomination.”
Trump responded in kind, using a fiery Oval Office address to deride Musk’s handling of government efficiency and accusing him of sabotaging bipartisan efforts.
Musk’s deleted posts have reignited public interest in the long-standing and deeply controversial Epstein case. While Trump was known to have socialized with Epstein in the early 2000s, he has repeatedly denied visiting Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where federal prosecutors alleged underage girls were trafficked.
In an earlier interview, Trump described Epstein as a “terrific guy,” adding, “It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” Trump has since distanced himself from Epstein, who died in jail in 2019 while awaiting trial.
Despite the gravity of Musk’s claim, no official sources have confirmed that Trump appears in any Epstein-related files. So far, investigations and public disclosures have implicated a wide range of individuals, predominantly from entertainment, business, and politics, but not Trump himself.
Musk’s accusation struck a nerve with factions of Trump’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) base, some of whom have pushed conspiracy theories that blame Epstein’s crimes on political enemies and liberal elites.
Now, with Musk and Trump at odds, their once-aligned camps face the potential of a deeper rift that could influence tech policy, space programs, and broader political dynamics.
While there were rumors of a possible reconciliation, the White House on Friday denied that any meeting between the two men was being planned.
As the public waits to see whether Musk will substantiate his claims or if further retaliation will follow from Trump’s camp the political and social consequences of this high-profile clash are only just beginning to unfold.
