At the London British Fashion Awards, Nigerian musician Habeeb Olalomi Oyegbile, better known by his stage name Portable, crossed paths with his female colleague Tiwa Savage.

Tiwa Savage enthusiastically reciprocated Portable’s warm embrace and pleasantries. Portable was at the event with well-known British rapper Skepta.

The Zazu crooner was all smiles in the viral video, calling Tiwa Savage his “godmother” and offering her prayers and compliments.
We have to perform at the Portable Replies Celestial Church Praise Night.
In the meantime, Portable has said that he has to play at a Lagos branch of the Celestial Church of Christ (CCC) worship night.

In a widely shared video, Portable declared that he is also a son of God and that the church should not judge him based alone on how he appears.

The event flyer featuring well-known Fuji singer Pasuma, May-Shua, and Portable as invited artists to perform at the celestial church event earlier went viral on social media.

Netizens were outraged by the incident and turned to various social media platforms to criticize the church’s selection of vocalists.

Since then, Olatosho Oshoffa, the Shepherd-in-Charge of the Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters in Ketu, has denounced the trio’s invitation.

In a post last week on his Facebook page, Oshoffa denounced Portable and Pasuma’s invitation to the church’s praise night, saying he had communicated with the parish’s clergy to change the posters and that the singers would no longer be honored on the occasion.

But in response to the announcement that his appearance at the event will not go forward, Portable has urged the church to continue “God’s work.”

He said he was meant to sing on the night of praise. In order for him to play at the event, the controversial musician called for his loves and Celestial church followers to turn up in large numbers and protest.

Portable demanded to play at the ‘Christian’ gathering alongside Alhaji Pasuma.
