Prof. Kaletapwa Farauta, the Deputy Governor-elect of Adamawa State, revealed that Ahmadu Fintiri, the current Governor, was the inspiration for her decision to step down as vice chancellor of Adamawa State University.
She said this during an appearance on Monday night’s episode of “Politics Today” on Channels Television, adding that Fintiri also played a role in her resignation.
“Life is about taking risks, and whatever you do in life is taking risks,” stated Farauta. I was aware that if I accepted the position of a sitting governor’s running mate, I would either win or lose when I left the classroom and the academic setting.
“The neighborhood, my coworkers, and of course my boss encouraged me.
As long as you trust in God and believe in yourself, God will work things out with you, she added. “I think that God orders people’s destinies and anything comes your way is a risk.
But she urged all parties and state citizens to work together for the state’s development.
We may have harmed one another while campaigning. Now that it’s finished, we should put it behind us as brothers and sisters and heal our differences since they outweigh the similarities between us.
“We will create a better Adamawa State for ourselves and our unborn children if we concentrate on the things that bring us together as Adamawa citizens and Nigerians.”
