The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, have agreed to settle the naira ab¥se accusation outside of court.
According to TheNation, the out-of-court settlement was disclosed when the hearings resumed on Thursday morning, May 2. On April 16, the EFCC charged Okechukwu with three counts of alleged naira fraud.
The next day, he was arraigned at Lagos’ federal high court, where he pleaded not guilty. The judge then granted him bail in the amount of N10 million, with two responsible sureties in the same amounts.
