In comparison to the N441.38 it exchanged for the dollar before the close of business on October 14, the amount represented a gain of 0.03 percent.
On Monday, the open indicative rate reached a high of N439.63 to the dollar.
Before it finished at N441.25, the exchange rate for the day’s trade peaked at N442.50 to the dollar.
In the course of the day’s trade, the Naira dropped as low as N425 to the dollar.
At the official investors and exporters window on Monday, foreign exchange transactions of 46.21 million were made. (NAN)
