Naomi Eto Vows Cameroon Will Fight Nigeria in WAFCON Quarter-Final

Cameroon midfielder Naomi Eto has vowed that the Indomitable Lionesses will fight for victory when they face Nigeria’s Super Falcons in the WAFCON quarter-final on Sunday.

The two teams will meet at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium in Casablanca.

Nigeria enter the clash as favourites. The Super Falcons have also never lost to Cameroon at the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

However, Naomi Eto insists Cameroon will not fear the defending champions.

 Nigeria have great qualities, but the match will be decided on the pitch,” Eto said, according to CAF.

She added that Cameroon would give everything during the crucial encounter.

Meanwhile, the winner will reach the semi-finals and face either hosts Morocco or South Africa.
