Actor and comedian Bayegun Oluwatoyin, better known by his stage as Woli Arole, confirmed his passing on Tuesday night. He wrote on Instagram, “So happy I reached out to you sir, so happy we did our part, so happy we laughed together, so happy we were able to express our support. Fadeyi Oloro, the legend, may you rest in peace.
“Let’s check on folks while they’re still alive. Let’s demonstrate affection while individuals can still experience emotion. Let’s lend a hand when it’s obvious.
The renowned actor battled an unspecified illness for years before his passing.
The actor, who was born in Ekiti, became well-known in the 1980s and late 1990s thanks to his iconic herbalist role.
