The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed Deposit Money Banks to collect outdated N500 and N1,000 notes from customers as a result of the cash shortage afflicting the nation.
Any Nigerian who has old N500 and N1000 notes can now take them to banks, it follows.
