Edo and Niger states, Governors Godwin Obaseki and Abubakar Bello, respectively, on Thursday mocked the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, for challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23 presidential poll.
Obaseki and Bello said Atiku was hallucinating with his latest claim that he defeated Buhari with a margin of 1.6 million votes in the poll.
The governors of Edo and Niger states, Godwin Obaseki and Abubakar Bello, respectively, on Thursday mocked the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, for challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 23 presidential poll.
Obaseki and Bello said Atiku was hallucinating with his latest claim that he defeated Buhari with a margin of 1.6 million votes in the poll.
They spoke separately with State House correspondents after meeting with Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“You heard the word, they are hallucinating,” Obaseki said, making reference to Atiku and the PDP.
On his part, the Niger governor advised Atiku not to waste his money saying the tribunal would not award victory to him.
Bello said those goading Atiku to challenge Buhari’s victory in court merely wanted to make money from the former VP.
