On Wednesday, the World Health Organization, the UN Children’s Fund, and the Global Vaccine Alliance (GAVI) announced that 12 African nations would get malaria vaccine.
In a statement, the organizations said that over the next two years, the nations would get 18 million doses of the first-ever malaria vaccine.
Since 2019, more than 1.6 million kids in Ghana, Kenya, and Malawi have received the RTS,S vaccination, which has been proven to be both safe and effective.
