President Muhammadu Buhari is the reason Nigeria exists today, according to Femi Adesina, the president’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, on Thursday, January 12.

In an article published on his official Facebook page, Adesina stated that the people of the North East have good stories to tell today because of the Buhari administration’s bravery in combating the insurgency that nearly crippled the region.

The North East is perhaps the region most affected by the insurgency that has nearly strangulated the country since 2009.

Boko Haram began, multiplied, and spread throughout the country from there. Some people are hellbent on instilling a sense of insecurity in the country.

The truth is that if we hadn’t had someone like Buhari in 2015, Nigeria would have been wiped off the map by now.
