The Federal Government has announced plans to host the inaugural Nigeria International Airshow in Lagos next year, aiming to establish Nigeria as a key aviation hub in Africa. Speaking at a press briefing in Abuja on Thursday, Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development Festus Keyamo said the event would attract industry leaders and innovators to explore fresh opportunities within the sector.

“Our goal,” Keyamo stated, “is to position Nigeria as a central aviation hub in Africa, attracting investment, building partnerships, and advancing sustainable growth.” He added, “This groundbreaking event marks a bold step forward—a new era for Nigeria and African aviation.”
