Nigeria is ready for business, according to V.P. Kashim Shettima, who urged foreign companies to take advantage of the chances.

The Vice President stated on July 25 at a side event of the ongoing UN Food Systems Summit that Nigeria was far ahead of other nations in the area due to its young, active population and the agenda of the new administration.

The VP is quoted as saying: “We have the ability to change the demographic bulge into demographic dividends or it will be the demographic dis@ster that will swindle us all.

With a young population, Nigeria will soon overtake the United States as the third most populated country on earth. We think there is promise in the horizon, as eternal optimists do, with determined leadership and the assistance of the global community.
