Nigerian man detained in the UK for stabbing his mother to death and injuring another.

Nicolas Aina, a 28-year-old Nigerian man, was detained by the police in east London, United Kingdom, for reportedly stabbing Caroline Adeyelu, 64, to death at their Dagenham home on Sunday, October 30.

The 28-year-old was charged with the attempted murder of a second woman in her 30s in addition to the murder of his mother, who was killed on November 1st, according to DailyMail.

The second woman reportedly suffered minor injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment, while Adeleyu was pronounced dead at the scene. Her ailment is not potentially fatal. Aina appeared at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and was ordered to remain in custody until her November 3 appearance at the Old Bailey, according to the police.
