Nigeria’s crude oil and condensate production declined by 5.9 percent year-on-year to an average of 1.599 million barrels per day in November 2025, the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has reported.
The regulator disclosed the figures in its December 2025 Crude Oil and Condensate Production Report, showing a drop from 1.698 million barrels per day recorded in November 2024.
The report also revealed a sharp month-on-month decline, as production fell from 1.698 million barrels per day in October 2025 to 1.599 million barrels per day in November.
According to NUPRC, Nigeria’s combined crude oil and condensate output fluctuated during the month, with the lowest daily production recorded at 1.54 million barrels per day, while peak output reached 1.79 million barrels per day.
Despite the decline, the commission noted that average crude oil production in November stood at 96 percent of Nigeria’s OPEC quota of 1.5 million barrels per day.
It added that the daily average output of 1,599,054 barrels per day comprised 1,436,005 barrels of crude oil and 163,049 barrels of condensate.
