The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Ltd. has confirmed the recovery of three bodies from the scene of a helicopter crash in Port Harcourt on Thursday.

The aircraft, operated by East Winds Aviation, went down with multiple passengers on board. Search and rescue teams are actively working alongside relevant authorities to locate any remaining victims.

Olufemi Soneye, NNPC’s Chief Corporate Communications Officer, extended the company’s heartfelt condolences to the grieving families, sharing the company’s thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
