Nollywood Actress Omeche Oko Injured During Film Shoot

Nollywood actress Omeche Oko has been admitted to hospital after suffering injuries in a motorcycle accident while filming a movie scene.

The actress revealed details of the incident through a video shared on her Instagram page on Wednesday. The footage captured moments from the production, the accident itself and her subsequent medical treatment.

According to the video, Omeche Oko was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle driven by fellow actor Victory Michael during the filming process. The situation quickly turned dangerous when the motorcycle struck a metal pole connected to a vehicle barrier at the location.

The collision reportedly injured Michael and caused him to lose control of the motorcycle. As a result, Oko was thrown to the ground, sustaining injuries that required immediate medical attention.

Footage from the aftermath showed cast and crew members rushing to assist the actress as she cried out in pain. She was later taken to a hospital, where doctors provided treatment for injuries suffered in the movie set accident. Additional clips showed her receiving injections and undergoing other medical procedures.

Reflecting on the frightening experience, Omeche Oko expressed gratitude for surviving the ordeal and used the opportunity to highlight the risks actors often face while working.

“Life is very, very fragile. It could have been a different story, but God said NO. If u see an actor today, give them a hug. We take a lot of risks for the craft. All I can say is Thank You, God,” she wrote.

The movie set accident sparked widespread concern among fans and colleagues, who flooded her comment section with prayers and well wishes. Many praised her resilience and wished her a speedy recovery.
