Development would result from the elevation of kings and the concession of autonomy to some communities in Ekiti State, according to the Atayero of Aramoko Ekiti, Olusegun Aderemi.
Aderemi suggested that governments arm and empower journalists since they can help the country resolve problems.

He claimed that by promoting traditional leaders and providing some of them authority, the state had succeeded.

Aderemi remarked immediately after receiving the Roundoff News Media and Consult in Ado Ekiti’s award for excellence.

As a specialist in managing cultural resources, he declared, “I think our culture should be conserved… I support all forms of progress, but I think they should be carefully controlled to prevent crises.

He stated, “Journalism is all about information, knowledge, safety, and act of speech. The majority of our problems may be solved by Nigerian journalists, who are concerned, trying their best, and still have more to offer.

“Insecurity in Nigeria is mostly caused by a dearth of intelligence collecting, and intelligence is at the heart of excellent journalism.
Thus, he continued, “if government can support and equip journalists, it will enhance our intelligence collecting.

The oba stated that he expects Governor Biodun Abayomi to make a difference when setting the agenda.
“In Ekiti State, we lack initiative. The governor ought to support business more. When we increase our understanding of entrepreneurship, profitable activities will result.
