Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, popularly known as Odumodublvck, stole the spotlight at the 17th Headies Awards held Sunday night at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos. The artist delivered a powerful performance that drew standing ovations and wild cheers from the audience.

The rapper, known for his high-energy style and captivating stage presence, was later named the winner of the highly coveted Next Rated Artist category. The announcement sparked excitement from fans and solidified Odumodublvck’s growing influence in the Nigerian music scene.

However, drama unfolded during his acceptance speech when the microphone was allegedly cut off mid-speech. Unfazed, Odumodublvck remained on stage, standing his ground alongside his entourage, as he waited for an opportunity to finish his remarks.

The incident has since sparked discussions online, with many praising the rapper’s determination and composure under pressure.

The 17th Headies Awards celebrated outstanding achievements in Nigerian music and featured appearances from some of the industry’s most prominent stars. Other winners of the night included Davido, Tems, and a posthumous award for late singer Mohbad.
