Head coach of Udinese Calcio, Kosta Runjaic, has confirmed that Nigerian goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is available for selection ahead of Monday’s fixture against Como 1907.

Okoye recently suffered a thigh injury while on international duty with Nigeria national football team. The 26-year-old was subsequently withdrawn from the squad before their 2-2 draw with Jordan’s Al-Nashama after sustaining the injury in training.

Providing an update on the team’s fitness, Runjaic disclosed that the squad trained at full strength for the first time since the international break, with only a few players unavailable.

“Except for Zemura, Buksa and Zanoli, everyone is available. Today we finally trained with the full squad after the international break,” he told the club’s official website.

Okoye had earlier featured in Nigeria’s 2-1 victory over Iran’s Team Melli before the injury setback.
