Olajumoke Orisaguna, the former CDS Popular bread seller turned model, has publicly accused her ex-husband, Sunday Orisaguna, of physical abuse and career sabotage. In an emotional interview with City FM, the model, widely recognized as “Olajumoke Onibread,” opened up about the trauma she endured during her marriage.
She recounted the violence and emotional distress, revealing that her ex-husband not only physically assaulted her but also undermined her professional growth. “There’s no way you can stay in a toxic environment like that without facing serious issues,” she said.
Olajumoke detailed the constant hostility she faced from her mother-in-law, which compounded the abuse. “I had to close my hairdressing shop early just to cook dinner for the family. My mother-in-law controlled everything, and whatever she told her son, he believed. He never listened to my side of things before beating me.”
The abuse escalated whenever she had conflicts with her mother-in-law, leaving her with swollen bruises and injuries from belts. “I kept quiet about it because I didn’t want my mother to find out, especially since she lived nearby.”
The model’s revelations shed light on the destructive impact of the domestic abuse she suffered and how it derailed her dreams.
