Olumba Olumba Obu Declares 2026 Year of Divine Judgement for Corrupt Global Leaders

The spiritual leader of the Brotherhood of the Cross and Star (BCS), His Holiness Olumba Olumba Obu, has proclaimed 2026 as a year of divine judgement that will expose and punish corrupt leaders across the world.

Olumba Obu made the declaration during the Brotherhood’s New Year service at its international headquarters in Calabar, Cross River State, where he addressed pressing global, moral, and spiritual concerns.

He stated that 2026 would mark a decisive moment for heads of institutions, political office holders, and leaders of groups in Nigeria and other countries, warning that hidden motives would be uncovered and justice would take centre stage.

According to him, leaders who rule with greed, wickedness, and arrogance would face overwhelming challenges beyond human control, while those who uphold humility, righteousness, and the fear of God would receive divine backing through the Holy Spirit.

The spiritual leader also spoke on rising global tensions, arms proliferation, and ongoing wars, urging world leaders to abandon instruments of destruction and return to godly principles.

He stressed that peace, dialogue, reconciliation, and justice remain the only sustainable solutions to global conflicts.

Praying for the new year, Olumba Obu said 2026 should not be remembered for chaos or destruction but as a year of divine restoration and lasting peace across nations.

Addressing presidents, prime ministers, monarchs, governors, lawmakers, captains of industry, and other custodians of public trust worldwide, he described 2026 as a divinely ordained period that would test leadership and expose true intentions.

He emphasised that the year is “not opened by political calendars, but by divine authority,” adding that it is a “Great Year” ordained by God—one that demands wisdom beyond human strategy, humility beyond titles, and obedience beyond personal ambition.
