Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages (LASPG), Fuji music icon Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (K1), and Nollywood stars have launched a campaign platform, Connecting Grassroots Initiative (CGI), for the realization of Senator Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition and the re-election of Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The launch, which took place on Monday in Ikeja, included the reveal of dozens of trucks to facilitate the movement of the campaign train.

Ebun Oloyede, Director-General of CGI, stated that the team of Nollywood actors had decided to forego movie locations for the time being in order to launch a campaign for Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu.

“We’ll be moving from one local government to the next until the election,” says one official. We will not visit any areas. “We shall sleep and continue the next day wherever the night meets us,” Oloyede remarked.

Tinubu, he claimed, has done a lot for the film business, which was why he decided to support him.

“It’s time to repay his generosity. “We are all dedicated to seeing the Tinubu project through,” he continued.

Alhaji Akinsanya vowed to help the team with the logistics needed to achieve its aim.

He announced the donation of 27 automobiles to help the team’s transportation. The automobiles were introduced by Fuji maestro K1, who also announced a N10 million donation to the group.

The delegation was promised adequate protection by Governor Sanwo-Olu, who was represented by the Commissioner for Housing, Moruf Akinderu-Fatai.

Akinderu-Fatai, the Sanwo-Olu campaign organization’s Director of Mobilization, agreed to assist the team with members of the Sanwo-Olu campaign group to facilitate their work.

He outlined some of the governor’s accomplishments and urged the group to base their campaigns on them.

Akinyele Oladeji, a tax specialist with CSDC consulting enterprise solutions, praised Akinsanya and the Nollywood stars for initiating the effort.

Oladeji told the audience that the Lagos state government has earned more over N1 billion from the parks and garages since their inception a few months ago.

“Tell those who are asking inquiries that these funds have been placed towards the construction of roads and building of bridges and those using the roads and bridges are not simply commercial bus operators. “This is one of many accomplishments since the establishment of the Lagos state parks and garages,” he remarked.
