Ondo Gubernatorial: Ajayi’s Resignation Won’t Stop Our Victory- PDP

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ondo state chapter says the resignation of the State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi, would not affect prospect of its victory in the October 10 gubernatorial election.

The party said it yet to receive Ajayi’s resignation letter.

Ondo PDP said the Deputy Governor abused the welcome and privilege accorded him by its party supporters during his brief stay in the party.

In a statement, state Publicity Secretary, Kennedy Ikantu Peretei said Ajayi’s resignation proved that he is desperate to become the Governor of Ondo State.
