Babatunji Wusu –

Given the current economic condition, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, the Ooni of Ife, has urged with Nigerians to have patient with President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The Ooni made the appeal on Monday during a visitation to his family’s home as part of celebrations for the culmination of the Olojo Annual Festival in the Oketase neighborhood of Ile-Ife.

The king acknowledged that Nigeria is now going through a difficult time and that its people are dealing with numerous difficulties in all facets of daily life.

“I am aware that many individuals are going through trying times right now; life is not easy for them, and it is a difficult time.

However, he added, “I know that after this event, normalcy will return to the nation, since the issues we’re experiencing will soon come to an end.

The royal father urged everyone to put up with more and make sure they support their leaders, stating that doing so would lead to tremendous accomplishments.

We’re getting close since gold must first be heated by fire in order to become brilliant. Without the people’s support, the government cannot accomplish it alone.

Therefore, all hands should be on deck because, as Oba Ogunwusi said, “without the support of the generality, neither a tree can make a forest, nor can any nation reach its promised land.”
