Osun 2026 pre-election poll has moved into a new phase after indigenous technology company Tornado Tech Ltd. launched its Opinyze mobile polling platform to forecast the August 15, 2026, governorship election.

The Osun 2026 pre-election poll gathers verified responses from voters across the state’s 30 local government areas to measure public opinion before election day.

The company says the platform uses demographic filtering and real-time engagement to collect thousands of responses within hours. As a result, it aims to provide a more accurate picture of voter sentiment than traditional polling methods, which often rely on smaller sample sizes.

According to Tornado Tech, the exercise marks the first live deployment of Opinyze’s predictive modelling system. The platform not only tracks support for leading candidates but also analyses the issues shaping voting decisions. These include infrastructure development, workers’ welfare, civil service reforms and governance.

Speaking on the initiative, Babatunde Alli Balogun of Tornado Tech said the Osun governorship election is the last major off-cycle poll before Nigeria’s 2027 general elections. He argued that reliable data is becoming increasingly important for political stakeholders and researchers.

Balogun added that Opinyze focuses on verified responses from participants rather than relying on social media conversations. He said the platform seeks to reduce errors by using fraud-verification tools and targeted data collection from residents across Osun State.

Meanwhile, Tornado Tech said the same technology can also help businesses monitor consumer behaviour across West Africa. The company plans to offer the data platform to FMCG brands, retailers and other corporate organisations seeking real-time market intelligence.

Furthermore, Tornado Tech announced that detailed findings and visual dashboards from the Osun 2026 pre-election poll will be released through its enterprise portal on July 31, 2026. The company also invited eligible residents to participate through the Opinyze web and mobile applications before the election.
