No fewer than 1,500 supporters from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), and Young Progressive Party (YPP) have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC), bolstering the factional leadership of the Jajiya political movement led by Hon. Aminu Sani Jaji, Member of the House of Representatives for Birnin-Magaji/Kaura Namoda Constituency in Zamfara State.
Prominent political figures who joined the APC Jajiya movement include the former APGA State Chairman, Alhaji Rabiu Salisu Bature Bungudu, and the State YPP Chairman, Alhaji Sani Anka Yellow, along with hundreds of their supporters. Additionally, PDP leaders from Shinkafi Local Government Area, such as former Director General Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Shinkafi, PDP Women Leader Hajiya Abu Alasan, and PDP Youth Leader Lukman Hamidu Shinkafi, among others, also made the shift to the APC, bringing thousands of supporters.
