Seyi Makinde, the governor of Oyo State, has claimed that during his four years in office, his income has decreased by 10–12%.
On Sunday, May 28, Makinde explained the reason for the loss to newsmen. He claimed that governing the state prevented him from managing and concentrating on his own companies, which led to the loss.
He said, “Statutorily, you must declare your assets upon taking office and at the conclusion of your term.
