The staffs of Kaduna State Electric Distribution Company on Tuesday barricade the main entrance to the corporate head office along Bank road, in the state capital over alleged nonpayment of salaries and non-remittance of their two years pension to the Pension Fund Administration.

The protest was led by union officials on the platform of the National Union of Electricity Employees.

Workers chanting solidarity songs locked down the company premises with vehicles having different type of inscriptions: “Pay our two years pension to PFA”, “Pay us our salary in full,” and “We say no to modern-day slavery.”
