Dr. Lyorcha Ayu, the national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed sympathy to Governor Aminu Tambuwal and the people of Sokoto state over the passing of Hajiya Aisha Maina, the governor’s special adviser on the female education board.
Ayu referred to Maina’s passing as a significant loss to the state, PDP, and the country as a whole in a statement signed by his media assistant, Alhaji Yusuf Dingyadi, and provided to newsmen in Sokoto.
He claimed that Maina had won the hearts of many people both inside and beyond the nation by leading an exemplary life of modesty, charity, and hard work for her kids, family, and community. She was also devoted to God.

She is one of the few women in the state who actively participated in political stances around the North and the country as a whole. She helped make the world a better place for those who were less fortunate.
For the residents of Sokoto state and the country as a whole, “it is truly a terrible exit,” Ayu remarked.
The PDP, the governor of Sokoto state, the wonderful people of Sokoto state, and her entire family received deep condolences from the National Chairman, who also prayed for Almighty God to grant her soul pardon.
It was recalled that on Tuesday in Sokoto, just after attending a PDP Presidential campaign rally, Maina passed away at the Usmanu Danfodio University Sokoto Teaching Hospital.
