The faction of the Labour Party led by Lamidi Apapa has agreed to the ruling of the Presidential Election Petition Court.
In response, Apapa released a statement in which it said: “It is a sh@me that Mr. Peter Obi’s legal team failed to adequately counsel him prior to appearing before the tribunal. Peter Obi recently embarked on an absurd quest.
Imagine a candidate who didn’t provide the necessary party funding to hire the necessary number of polling agents. The legal team would also fail if witnesses weren’t filed within the allotted window of time.
Some of us have been claiming that Peter Obi made the decision to appear before the tribunal in order to defend the money he amassed throughout the campaign, which was all properly drained.
Therefore, it is now revealed that Peter Obi was only trying to defr@ud our party of the ominous sum of $15 million and N12 billion in donations made for the 2023 general election.
